History

The Original Captree Star began fishing from Captree State Park in 1954, when the park first opened. Charlie Buser and Patty Buser (Patty is the daughter of the late Captain Gillen ) purchased the larger Captree Star II several years back. The new Captree Star II now carries 149 plus passengers as a charter based service. "Your personal boat for all your fishing and party events". Recenlty in 2010, Charlie and Patty purchased the Captree Star III.
